Hello! I am Hatice Aktürk. I was born in the village of Balat, located in the historic lands of the Miletus ancient city, drawing inspiration from this place to shape my life journey. After graduating from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, I spent a year in England for language education to explore different cultures.

For approximately 10 years, I served as a Sales Representative responsible for the Foreign Market in the textile sector. During this period, I sold textile products to major ready-to-wear brands in countries such as Spain, Greece, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Despite frequent international travels for work, one day I realized that I no longer wanted to be in this industry and decided to return to my roots.

In 2016, I took the most beautiful step of my life by getting married, and in 2017, I became the mother of a baby boy. My husband, Selçuk Aktürk, a full-time physics professor, supports me in my research and development efforts for innovative products, managing the entire R&D process.

Meeting History with Ata Tree

In the region between the ruins of Miletus and the ancient city of Iasos (Kıyıkışlacık), we discovered an area with very old olive trees that witnessed history. Acquiring a 200-decare olive grove within the borders of the Milas District in this region, we found trees estimated to be between 100 and 3500 years old. One of these trees, named Ata Tree, stands out with a circumference of approximately 12.5 meters and a diameter of about 4 meters. Scientifically proven to be 3000-3200 years old, the excitement it stirred and our commitment to bring historical witnesses to light led us to initiate social responsibility projects. The brand ATA TREE emerged as part of these projects.

Harmony of Tradition and Innovation

Among our family's efforts to continue the longstanding tradition of olive cultivation, we focused on making traditional methods compatible with today's technology. By closely following technological developments in olive cultivation, we conducted trial applications in our own olive grove for three years. Through improvements in all stages, from cultivation to storage conditions, we believed that we could produce high-quality olive oil.

Fundamentally engaged in Organic Agricultural Production and Marketing, we produce extra virgin olive oil with the Geographical Indication of the European Union in our facility located in Milas, Muğla. While enjoying the benefits of olive oil internally, we began to question why not beautify our skin externally. To create a theme of beauty from within to outside, we initiated R&D studies. As a result of these studies, we decided to introduce innovative skin nutrition products to you. These products are manufactured in our family company located in Ankara, resulting from our innovative R&D efforts.

In every step we take on this journey, we aim to merge traditional values with modern technology while staying rooted. Together with you, here's to many more years on the journey of beauty and health from the inside out!

Later, I pursued a Master's degree in International Relations and European Union at Marmara University's Institute of European Communities. During my Master's, I took on roles at the European Union Association, managing various European Union projects. Following my experience as an executive assistant at the Olive Factory in my hometown, I entered the textile industry in 2007.
Within the scope of the our brand activities, efforts were first made to include monumental olive trees in the
Council of Europe Cultural Routes - Olive Tree Culture Route.
As a result of the studies,
The 3200-YEAR-OLD OLIVE TREE "ATA AĞAÇ" has taken its place in the
COUNCIL OF EUROPE OLIVE TREE CULTURE ROUTE with the status of  "POINT OF INTEREST".
Efforts are continuing to introduce the whole of  Muğla, especially Milas, to the world through monumental olive trees.
